This was a three day and two night backpacking trip to a small village called Pakchanta. Most of the people we encountered on this hike only spoke Quechua which is one of the original languages of Peru. I went with two other volunteers, a guide, two cooks, and three horses. It was spectacular!
Wow! That's awesome! I can't believe that you have to hike to get to a village still! Are you still going to try cuy?
ReplyDeleteYeah, there aren't too many places that you can't get to by car anymore. Yep, I'll probably eat cuy tomorrow night. I tried a little bite of it last night. It just tastes like chicken.
