Here's the 32 students I got to work with for a month! I had so much fun working with these kids! They threw a surprise party for me today because it was my last day of volunteering. They brought cake, drinks, and lots of snacky foods. It was very hard to leave the school today! I'm really going to miss all of them!
Oh Weston, that makes me feel sad--you will miss them a lot I am sure--those little ones have a way of capturing our hearts. I am so glad you got to have that experience. Can't wait for you to get home and tell us more tales of your adventures and show us more pictures. Love you and we hope you enjoy your last days in Peru!! It will be hard to leave your new volunteer friends I am sure too!!
ReplyDeleteWow! 32 kids and I bet each one touched your heart. Glad you got pictures of the class. I'm sure they are going to miss you too. What an experience this has been for you. I'm so proud of you. Can't believe you tried Cuy! So it's true...pretty much everything weird tastes like chicken. lol Can't wait to hear about Machu Picchu and see some pics. I bet you didn't think you were going to do that much hiking to so many ruins; how cool is that? We're praying for your safety and for a great backpacking experience. Love and miss you, Dad
